Three other degree-awarding tertiary institutions are not funded by the UGC. They are the publicly funded Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) and the self-financing Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) and Hong Kong Shue Yan College (HKSYC).
