Montmorillonite (MMT) was modified with maleic anhydride (MAH) and styrene (St) to get modified SMA-MMT, which was introduced into a blend of polypropylene (PP) and ethylene-propylene-diene mischpolymer (EPDM), using PP-g-MAH-St as a compatibilizer.
