任何人不得因下列行为可能将其本人或其妻室或丈夫牵连入本条例所指之罪案而在任何民事诉讼案中不回答所提出之问题；或

• "A person shall not be excused, by reason that to do so may incriminate that person or the wife or husband of that person of an offence under this Ordinance from answering any question put to that person in any civil proceedings;"
