The surface properties of catalysts wcre characterized by TEM, TPR, IR, and ESCA, It was observed that the surface properties of Pd-Pt-Al_2O_3 bimetallic catalyst were different from that of Pd-Al_2O_3 and Pt-Al_2O_3 monometallic catalysts.
