The conditions for producing SOX, the method for purification and properties of SOX were studied. With the application of chromosome walking method, the SOX gene (sox) of BSD-8 strain was cloned and sequenced.

• 本研究从土壤中分离筛选到一株产热稳定SOX的优良菌株BSD-8，对其进行了系统鉴定，并进一步研究了菌株的产酶发酵条件、酶的纯化方法及酶的性质，又通过染色体步移的方法克隆到该酶的全基因。
