The complete nucleotide sequences of DLA-EIAV and EIAVL proviral DNAwere determined. The proviral genomes of EIAV L and DLA-EIAV were8235 bp and 8266in length, respectively.

• EIAV L株与国外已发表的一些相关毒株相比核苷酸序列差异很大，同源性只有79%25，RTase的氨基酸同源率只有86%25，Gag蛋白的的同源率只有79%25，说明EIAV L株与国外已报道的几个EIAV毒株的亲缘关系较远。
