RPE cells co-expressed both the RPE cells marker cytokeratin and the neuronal retina markers(MAP2,GS,GFAP,Peripherin,Opsin),when stimulated by bFGF. We did not detect the expression of NCAM in the transdifferentiation RPEs using immunohistochemistry.
