Objective To assess the possibility of a direct effect of areca nut extracts(ANE) on endothelins(ET) production by cultured keratinocytes (KC) from normal buccal mucosa and oral submucous fibrosis(OSF) buccal mucosa in vitro.

• 目的 通过观察槟榔提取物(areca nut extract, ANE)对体外培养的人类口腔黏膜上皮角朊细胞(keratinocytes, KC)分泌内皮素(endothelin, ET)的影响， 初步探讨KC和ET在口腔黏膜下纤维性变(oral submucous fibrosis, OSF)发生中的作用。
