In order to obtain artificial antigen of neomycin, neomycin was linked to Bovine Serum albumin(BSA) and keyhole limpet hemocyanin(KLH) respectively by EDC coupling. The conjugates BSA-NEO and KLH-NEO were identified by infrared spectrum.
