Both of our patients died within 6 months of initial diagnosis, indicating the poor prognosis and advanced stage of transitional cell carcinoma with an inferior vena cava thrombus.

• 肾盂移形性上皮细胞癌合并下腔静脉转移是相当恶性之阶段，预后很差，虽接受根治性手术，大部分患者仍在诊断后6个月内死亡。
