Bcl-2/Bax gene family contain two gene of opposite function. One of gene is restrained cell apoptosis,such as Bcl-2,bcl-xl, Bcl-w,Bf-1,Brag,Mcl-l and A1,another is accelerated cell apoptosis gene,such as Bax, Bak, Bok,Bcl-xs, Bad,Bid,Bik,Blk and Hrk.
