蕉藕

• A perennial herb with tubers looking like lumps. Its stalk stands erect and is purple in color. It has elliptic leaves and crimson flowers. Its fruit are like lumps which split in three slices. It lives in warm regions and can resist drought. Its tubers can be eaten or made into starch whose dregs can be used as pig food. The material of its stalk and leaves can be used to make paper.
